Here is a guide to addressing some of the more common issues you may run into using CityBLD.
Debugging Website Issues
Examples of website issues are being unable to log in, or being unable to access an owned product.
- Has it been a while since you last logged in? worldbld.com underwent an upgrade on March 28 and users need to create a new account under the same email address. Once the email is verified all purchases will be transferred over.
- Are others reporting the same issue on our Discord forums? It may be a temporary sitewide outage. Check back in a few hours.
Debugging License Issues
Examples of license issues are having your license rejected, or being unable to generate a license file.
- Check that the HWID(hardware ID) is entered correctly. You may have pasted it with the brackets “{” and “}” at the ends, these should be erased.
- An example of the proper format of the HWID is: 2C653SSG-0F39-43D6-BNE5-SA8WAGBU715F
Debugging General CityBLD Issues
Examples of general issues are crashes, textures not showing up, or City Kits not loading.
- Check that all versions are the same. You want CityBLD to have the same version as your City Kits.
- Ensure it works in a fresh project. Some project settings may be incompatible with CityBLD.
- Install it into your project Plugins folder, instead of the engine Plugins folder. Some projects require the plugin installed into the project Plugins folder.
