In CityBLD, a City Kit is an additional plugin containing content pre-configured for use in CityBLD.

For this tutorial, we'll be installing the free Modern City Sample Kit, available from the WorldBLD Launchpad App.

Step 1: Downloading

• We'll open up Launchpad, go to Kits, and select Modern City.

• We’ll select our target UE version on the left hand side as well.
• Just like we did when installing CityBLD, we’ll find our installation path and Download button at the bottom of the screen.

• This download is fairly large and may take a while to complete. Make sure you install on a drive where you have at least 100GB free.

Step 2: Enabling the Plugin

When it has successfully installed, we'll need to open up our project, go to the plugins menu, and enable the new City Kit.

When we restart our editor, we'll see it listed in the City Kit menu in CityBLD, where we can add it to our level.

If our City Kit has Extensions(extra content or presets, in this case the Modern City Kit has the Pedestrians extension), we can add those to our level as well by clicking the blue + button:
