CityBLD for non-technical creators

Inspect and lightly edit CityBLD cities in Unreal Engine with help from your AI assistant (ideally the Claude Desktop or ChatGPT Desktop app). CityBLD MCP can summarize cities, identify layout issues, inspect blocks and buildings, and restyle existing buildings.

What this toolset does

Your AI assistant can:

• Summarize your city, including counts for blocks, parcels, and buildings, plus the districts and styles in use.
• List and describe districts, land uses, and building styles.
• List city blocks, parcels, and modular buildings in the level.
• Find common problems, including missing districts, overlapping blocks, and buildings that are not on parcels.
• Change a building’s style and regenerate that building when a valid license is active.
• Create custom building styles using your own meshes(try a Blender MCP + WorldBLD MCP workflow for full building creation)

Important: City creation is still handled in the editor

CityBLD MCP does not currently draw new city blocks, create new districts or land uses, or place new buildings from scratch. Use CityBLD’s viewport tools for those tasks.

How to use it

Installing the CityBLD MCP

CityBLD MCP is bundled with the WorldBLD MCP Toolset. Make sure the latest compatible versions of CityBLD and WorldBLD are installed and enabled in your Unreal project.
